Honolulu police report that a motorcyclist died early Saturday morning in a solo crash on the H-1 Freeway going westbound.
The Honolulu Medical Examiner identified him as 32-year-old Raheem Terry from the Pearl Harbor area.
The call came in at 2:30 a.m.
A 32-year-old man, riding a 2013 Harley Davidson, was exiting the freeway at the airport off-ramp when he failed to negotiate the turn at the top of the ramp. He crashed, falling from the off-ramp onto the lower airport ramp. He was declared dead at the scene. He was wearing a helmet.
His identity has not been made known.
It is unknown at this time if speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
The traffic fatality makes this the 25th of this year, compared to 27 the same time last year.
