More than 1 million Ford F-150 Pickups with six-speed automatic transmissions are being recalled


It is a major recall involving more than a million Ford F-150 pickup trucks. 

The recall includes model years between 2011 to 2013 with six-speed automatic transmission.

According to Ford, the recall is due to a glitch in a sensor that can cause the vehicle to downshift without warning.

One injury has been reported.

Affecting owners will be notified by mail starting in March.

The problem will be fixed by dealers for free.
