Moisture over the eastern part of the state, with drier conditions to return Wednesday afternoon

Lingering moisture associated with an old front will keep unsettled weather in place across Maui and the Big Island Wednesday morning, with conditions improving from west to east in the afternoon.

Cool and breezy northerly winds will focus showers mainly over windward slopes and coasts.

Winds will continue Wednesday night, then ease through the remainder of the work week, with showers continuing to favor windward slopes and coasts.
