MLB players to hold workouts in Hawaii

On their way to the All-Star Series in Japan, Maajor League Baseball players will hold open workouts and a clinic in Hawaii.

Yadier Molina, Christian Yelich, Ronald Acuna, Rys Hoskins, Carlos Santana, Eugenio Suarez, Whit Merrifield, and Chris Taylor are the MLB players announced to be participating so far. Miami Marlins manager Don Mattingly will be managing the team. The rest of the roster will be announced at a date to be determined in October. 

The players will be in Oahu from November 3-5.

The public can attend two workout sessions at the University of Hawaii’s Les Murakami Stadium on November third and fourth. Tickets can be purchased at

PLAY BALL will host an invitation-only event for kids ages 5-12 on November third.
