Missing Oahu Community Correctional Center work furlough inmate Samuel Campbell has been captured.

Sheriff Division Canine Units Deputies assisted Sheriff Fugitive Teams with locating Campbell, who was wearing an electronic monitor. He was tracked down at the Ala Moana Beach Park area, and arrested at about 10:18 a.m. Friday.

Once processed, Sheriffs will return him to OCCC custody. Campbell failed to return from his work furlough pass to Module 20 Thursday night.

Campbell is serving time for Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle 1. His next parole hearing is scheduled for July of this year. He now faces an additional escape charge.
