Missing OCCC work furlough inmate turns himself in to facility Thursday

Work furlough inmate Lyle Botelho failed to return to the OCCC work furlough housing Tuesday night.

Botelho voluntarily turned himself in to OCCC at 7:10 a.m. Thursday. Sheriffs will process him on espcape charges. 

Botelho is serving time for Methamphetamine Trafficking 2. His next parole hearing was scheduled for January. He now faces an additional escape charge when found. 

He is a community custody inmate in the work furlough program with pass privileges.
