Hawaii’s high school football’s all-time leading rusher looked the part among the best in the nation Saturday morning at the 2016 Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas.
Mililani senior, West team running back Vavae Malepeai gave the East squad a case of the “spins”, leading the game in rushing with 66 yards on 8 carries due to some fancy pirouette work during impressive runs.
Scout.com named Malepeai one of the five best offensive performers of the game, helping the West team take down the East 37-9.
Up next for the Cover2 Marcus Mariota award winner is National Letter of Intent signing day on February 3rd. There, he can make his commitment to the University of Oregon official.
