Maui Mayor needs origami cranes for trip to Hiroshima

Maui county needs your help making paper cranes so that Mayor Arakawa can take them with him to Hiroshima.
    
The mayor and other county officials will be going to Maui’s sister city, Fukuyama in Hiroshima prefecture next month to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the partnership.

Afterwards, they’ll head to Hiroshima City, and the Peace Memorial Museum to dedicate the strands of origami cranes on behalf of Maui county residents.

You can pick up the origami paper at the Maui mayor’s office .

You’ll need to turn in the cranes by May 1st.
