A man accused of sexually assaulting a minor during a home burglary, has pled guilty.
The suspect is identified as Samson W. Harong, 25, formerly of California.
The incident happened in May of 2017.
Right after the assault, Harong fled to the mainland but was later indicted by a grand jury, caught, and flown back to Kauai.
Harong faces 20 years in prison. After that, he also faces deportation, because he is not a legal U.S. citizen.
Sentencing is scheduled for August 29, 9 a.m.
