The show will go on for Kalapana

HONOLULU (KHON2) - The Hawaii band Kalapana will perform at the Town Center of Mililani's New Year's Eve Pineapple Drop.

On Thursday, co-founder of Kalapana Malani Bilyeu died of a heart attack at the age of 69.

The group was already scheduled to perform on New Year's Eve. On Sunday it was announced that after some consideration, band members Gaylord Holomalia, DJ Pratt and Kenji Sano decided to go on with their performance as a tribute their band mate, friend and brother.

On some of the songs that Bilyeu sang lead, the band will be playing along with a recording of Bilyeu's voice.

Here's the line-up for the Town Center of Mililani's New Year's Eve Pineapple drop:

5:00p.m. - Asian Lion Dance Team
5:15p.m. - Ryugen Taiko
5:45p.m. - Josh Tatofi
6:30p.m. - Kalapana:  Tribute to Malani Bilyeu 
7:00p.m. - Pineapple Drop Countdown by Kalapana & Haka at "Midnight"
