The annual lei draping ceremony will be held at the Kamehameha statue across from Iolani Palace on Friday, June 7th.

The draping will begin at 3 p.m.

Thousands of plumeria flowers will make up the lei that will adorn the statue.

King Kamehameha Day is on Tuesday, June 11th.

It is a state holiday, so state and city offices will be closed.
