Public Safety looking for two work furlough inmates

The Department of Public Safety is looking for two work furlough inmates. 

Work furlough inmate Ashley Soares failed to return to the Women’s Community Correctional Center (WCCC) furlough housing unit. She was supposed to return by 9 p.m. last night. Sheriffs and HPD were notified.

Soares is 36 years old, 5’6″ tall, and 200 lbs. She has brown hair and brown eyes.  She is serving time for Methamphetamine Trafficking 2 and Promoting a Dangerous Drug 3.  Her next parole hearing is scheduled for October of this year.

Maui Community Correctional Center (MCCC) work furlough inmate Gregory Anthony failed to return from work at his scheduled return time of 7 p.m. Maui Police were notified of the failure to return.

Anthony is 26-years old, is 5’10” tall and weighs 170 lbs.  He has blond hair and blue eyes. He is serving time for Theft 2, Credit Card Theft, Credit Card Fraud, Burglary 1, and Unauthorized Control of a Propelled Vehicle. His parole hearing was scheduled for July 2020.


Soares and Anthony are community custody inmates in the furlough program with pass privileges.  Community custody is the lowest classification status.  They both face an additional escape charge when found.
