Police search for driver of white van in Nanakuli hit-and-run

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the driver in a hit-and-run involving a male pedestrian in Nanakuli.

On Wednesday, Feb. 3, at approximately 3:55 a.m., a 27-year-old man was crossing Farrington Highway near Piliokahi Street when he was hit by a white van that fled the scene.

The victim was found by his father, who heard the crash. He found the victim lying on the highway.

The man was transported to the hospital in critical condition and has no recollection of the accident.

The van may have front end damages.
