A slump for hotels in Hawaii.

According to the Hawaii Tourism Authority on average hotels statewide reported decreased occupancy in October compared to the year before.

When broken up by county, occupancy ranged from around 81 to 66 percent.

The lowest being Hawaii county which HTA says is still reeling from the impacts the lava eruption had on tourism this year.
