Hawaii’s Most Wanted: Christine Bray

Local News

Honolulu police and CrimeStoppers are looking for a woman who took her child out of state violating orders.

They are looking for Christine Bray, also known as Christine Lane.

“On March 7, 2014, the complainant who was a supervisor for Child Welfare Services went to make a home visit on a child belonging to Christine Lane and her husband,” said CrimeStoppers Sgt. Kim Buffett. “When she went to the home, she was told by another family member that the husband and Christine had taken the child out of state and moved back to Florida, which was a violation of their conditions.”

“The worker contacted Florida Child Protective Services and was able to locate the Lanes. The child was recovered and returned to Hawaii in March of 2014. Bray is charged with custodial interference in the first degree,” Buffett added.

She’s now wanted on a $20,000 warrant in connection with that case for not following the terms of HOPE probation.

“She does have two prior convictions and is known to frequent the Honolulu area,” Buffett said.
