HONOLULU (KHON2) - Honolulu Police are looking for David Gaspang, who was arrested two years ago for a brazen robbery of handbags.
Sgt. Chris Kim said, "On January 1, 2017 at approximately 3:00 p.m., an employee for the Ward TJ Maxx store observed a male in the handbag section cutting off the security wires for the handbags. The male then proceeded to the store exit while carrying several handbags. A store manager confronted the male, at which time the male stated that he had a gun. The male then fled in an awaiting vehicle."
The male suspect was identified as David Gaspang. Police arrested him for robbery and he's now wanted on a $20,000 warrant in connection with that case for not following the terms of HOPE Probation.
