Former Hawaii’s Most Wanted, Jeffrey Tambua has been arrested

Honolulu Police arrested Jeffrey Tambua, who was wanted on a warrant in connection with a burglary and drug case.

“On November 6, 2017 at about 11:00 a.m., a witness observed a male entering her neighbor’s residence,” said Sgt. Chris Kim. “The witness contacted her neighbor and informed her of what she had observed. Police were notified and were able to locate the male in the downstairs portion of the home. The male, who was identified as Jeffrey Tambua, was subsequently placed under arrest for Burglary in the First Degree”

Tambua was also arrested for having crystal meth in his pocket.

He had been wanted on a 20-thousand dollar warrant for not following the terms of his probation.

According to Kim, he has eight prior convictions.
