Former Hawaii coach, June Jones to coach Houston’s XFL team

Former University of Hawaii head coach, June Jones is headed back to pro football.

The all time winningest coach in program history has accepted a deal to lead the Houston Franchise as head coach and general manager for the relaunching of the XFL in February of 2020. 

The position will be the fifth head coaching job of his career.

Most recently, Jones guided the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League for two years.

He is resigning as their offensive coordinator.
