Fire at Noholoa Neighborhood Park contained by HFD

The Honolulu Fire Department (HFD) responded to a wild land fire in a gulch east of Noholoa Neighborhood Park on Monday.

HFD first arrived to the scene at 5:04 p.m. 

According to fire officials, a total of 5.5 acres were burned and the fire was reported to be 100 percent contained as of 6:30 p.m., Monday. 

No injuries were reported, and no structures were threatened by the fire. 

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
