Farrington High School, one of almost two dozen Hawaii schools graduating Saturday

Saturday was graduation day for thousands of public school seniors statewide.

At 4 p.m. in the afternoon, Farrington High School’s 78th commencement ceremony began.

It’s one of 20 public schools with graduations on Saturday with several already completed by the afternoon, but even more took off in the evening.

A reminder, be sure drive to carefully and police will be setting up DUI checkpoints.

On Sunday, four more public schools will hold graduation ceremonies.
