The annual Honolulu Police Department (HPD) Remembrance Walk will make its way down Beretania Street Monday night.
The walk is done to honor the police officers who have died in the line of duty. It is set to start at 6 p.m. from the HPD headquarters to the State Capitol.
Memorial service will take place at the State Capitol.
Starting at 5 p.m., drivers are urged to avoid the area and take alternate routes to avoid traffic and road closures.
However, roads will open progressively once participants have passed through.
