The Hawaii Lions Foundation hosted the Walk for Vision and Hearing Saturday at Ala Moana Beach Park.
The walk started at 9 a.m.
Leo the Lion was on hand to cheer on participants.
After the walk, people got to look at the booths from the American Diabetes Association, and the Lions Club, and a silent auction.
The monies raised go to all projects the Lions work on including vision and hearing screenings in schools.
There was also a picnic for the blind and visually handicapped.
Other Lion’s Club projects are eyeglass and hearing aid recycling, rescue tubes and diabetes education.
