Kunia shooting suspect pleads not guilty

The man accused of shooting up a Kunia family’s home earlier this month pleaded not guilty to charges Thursday.

Scott Vidinha is charged with attempted murder, reckless endangering, and firearms offenses.

Witnesses say Vidinha stood naked in front of his neighbor’s home and made threats before opening fire.

The family of four hid in the bathroom and no one was hurt in the shooting incident.

Vidinha is being held on $1 million bail. His trial has been set for January 2017.
