Keeping kids active is the focus the Keiki Rainbow Run.
It’s taking place on Saturday, March 16 at the Clarence T.C. Ching Field at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
The Keiki Rainbow Run is a healthy fun run for youth up to age 12 and their families.
The run is a collaboration between many different community partners, including Kama’aina Kids, to encourage healthier living by staying active, eating lots of fruits and vegetables, and hydrating with water over sugary beverages.
The event is also a school fundraiser.
This year, 100 percent of early bird registration fees will go directly back to each student’s school to support P.E. and nutrition programs.
Families can register for the Keiki Rainbow Run through their school or online at www.kahoomiki.org.
Be sure to select their school from the drop-down menu so that their contribution can go to their school.
