Honolulu firefighters responded to a call of an injured hiker who was rock climbing above the Makapuu Lighthouse lookout.
The call came in around 11:30 a.m. Saturday. The 29-year-old man fell 10 feet and injured his back. There is no word as to whether he was hiking alone.
The hiker was airlifted from where he fell and transferred to the care of Emergency Medical Services personnel.
