Small improvised explosive devices were used to target three major transport hubs in London today, according to British authorities.
Officials say a building near Heathrow Airport received the first IED. Staff opened the small package causing part of the device to burst into flames. No one was hurt.
Two IEDs were later found at Waterloo train station and near London City Airport. They were not opened.
Police say the devices appear to be part of a linked series.
