The Hōkūleʻa returned from it’s Worldwide Voyage in 2017.
Following that tour, the Hōkūleʻa then sailed around the islands to give back to the communities and say mahalo for the support and Aloha for “Mālama Honua.”
This is known as the “Mahalo Hawai’i” tour and it comes to a close this weekend as the Hōkūleʻa once again makes its way into the Ala Wai Canal.
Friday will be a day full of festivities, while both Friday and Saturday, there will be public canoe tours and so much more.
Special rate parking will be available at the Hawai’i Convention Center for $10.
Street parking is also available.
