A front northwest of the islands will move southeast through Thursday night. It looks like the humid, hot and rainy conditions will be here through tomorrow.
An upper level trough has been making the atmosphere unstable enough for thunderstorms and heavy rain to develop over the islands. There is currently a flood advisory posted for Oahu until 8 p.m. tonight.
The front will dissipate over the islands on Friday, which is also when we will be drying out.
A high far northwest of the area will move south through Friday then build east through the weekend. Meanwhile, a low will pass south of the islands through early next week.
