**Editor’s note: Michael Compton was arrested by police around 7:45 a.m. April 2, 2016, at 2699 Kalakaua Avenue for his $20,000 Probation Revocation Warrant.**

Honolulu police and CrimeStoppers are asking for your help in finding a man who they say entered a popular new Kaimuki food establishment and started trashing it.

They are looking for Michael Compton.

“On July 13 at 7:30 a.m., the complainant working at Kaimuki Superette on Waialae Avenue heard commotion outside and observed a male arguing with other people,” said CrimeStoppers Sgt. Kim Buffett. “The male entered the store a few minutes later and started screaming with her to call for 911. She got on the phone to 911, and while talking with the operator the male decided he was going to push everything off the counter including the cash register and start breaking things. He exited the store, grabbed chairs and started throwing them through the front door window.”

Compton was arrested for criminal property damage.

He’s now wanted on a $20,000 warrant, in connection with that case, for not following the terms of HOPE Probation.

“Compton has five prior convictions and is known to frequent the Honolulu area,” Buffett
