Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard announces she’ll run for President in 2020


Another name is being added to the list of those seeking to become the democratic presidential candidate in 2020. 

Hawaii Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbar told CNN’s Van Jones on Friday that she’s decided to throw her hat in the ring, and will make a formal announcement in the coming days. 

Gabbard says her campaign plan will focus on issues such as health care, criminal justice reform, and climate change. 

The 37-year-old was first elected to the house in 2012, and is the first Hindu member of congress.
