Governor, First Lady to host A Washington Place Christmas

Gov. David Ige and First Lady Dawn Amano Ige will host a Christmas party at Washington Place next month, and you’re invited.

A Washington Place Christmas takes place Sunday, Dec. 11, 5-8 p.m.

Christmas trees and holiday decorations will be on view. There will also be a fashion show by Ballet Hawaii featuring costumes from its Royal Nutcracker production, honoring the first Christmas Open House at Washington Place in 1858.

Reservations are required. Call 586-0248 or reserve tickets online here by Wednesday, Dec. 8. Adults may be required to present a photo ID to enter Washington Place grounds and bags may be subject to inspection.

Free parking will be available at the State Department of Health parking lot (Kinau Hale Building) off Miller Street.
