Free Hawaiian language classes at Ka Makana Ali’i

Are you interested in learning how to speak the native tongue of Hawai’i?

The Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement (CNHA) has partnered with Ka Makana Ali’i to sponsor these free classes for the community.

Because March is the birth month of Prince Kuhio Kalaniana’ole, Ka Makana Ali’i, in partnership with the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement, is offering free Hawaiian language classes at their center stage.

This is available on the Tuesdays of March from 6:00-7:30pm, however because the attendance has been great and the demand is present, this course, along with other course, may be offered for an extended period of time.

2019 has been distinugished as the Year of Indigenous Languages by the United Nations.
