Earth, Wind and Fire is ready to hit the stage Tuesday night in Honolulu.

The Grammy-Award-winning R&B group will be here for one night only at the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena, fresh off a tour in Japan.

Ralph Johnson, one of the group’s original members, says anytime they play a Japan tour, they always request to stop and perform here in the islands.

“We are so glad to be back on your island. We look forward to playing for you,” Johnson said. “It’s always a treat for us. Like I said, we just finished touring in Japan. For us, this is just the cherry on top. We are totally stoked about playing tomorrow night.”

“When we play here, it’s just surprising the energy the audience has here. It’s so cool,” said member Philip Bailey.

Tickets for Tuesday’s show are sold out.
