A duo from Hawaii is bringing home an Emmy Award!
Local entrepreneur Lanai Tabura and Redefined Media co-owner Andrew Tran won an Emmy on Saturday at the 47th Annual Northern California Area Emmy Awards.
They were nominated for a “lifestyle-program/special” Emmy for their program “Ramen Yokocho.”
The program is about hole in the wall ramen eateries found off the beaten path.
“Ramen Yokocho” was created to capture the journey of how ramen came the United States and how it became an everyday staple in Hawaii.
The program can be seen on Hawaiian Airlines flights.
Congratulations to Tabura and Tran, this is both their first Emmy Award.
