After a surge of shower activity on Thursday, a drier and more stable airmass is filling in over the islands.
This weekend will be a mix of sunshine and light windward showers. Any showers that do pass through should be quick passing thanks to the trade winds peaking at 20 mph.
In the East Pacific ocean, tropical depressions EIGHT-E and NINE-E have formed. Both systems are not a threat to the islands at this time or in the future if the forecast holds, however the islands could see a boost in showers from remnants of EIGHT-E move through the state next week Wednesday.
