Dogs and puppies rescued from filthy living conditions earlier this year need new homes.
They will be among 30 animals up for adoption this Saturday at Ala Moana Center.
The adoption event will be held on level three of the Mauka wing near Vera Bradley.
To avoid long lines, interested adopters will be randomly selected at 10:30 a.m. to meet the animals. Overnight camping is not permitted.
“A lot of people are very touched by the story of these dogs, so we’re expecting a lot of people, just animal lovers to come,” said Suzy Tam with the Hawaiian Humane Society.
The dogs will be available for a $75 adoption fee, plus a $10 county dog license.
In May 2016, more than 30 dogs were rescued from a home in Kahaluu.
Breeder James Montgomery was indicted on animal cruelty charges.
