Deep tropical moisture along and ahead of an approaching low pressure trough will continue to bring the potential for heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and flash flooding to Kauai and Niihau.
A front northwest of the islands will move southeast through tonight.
The front will stall and dissipate over the islands through Friday.
A high will build north of the area Friday and move east through early next week.
Meanwhile, a tropical low will form southeast of the islands and move west through early next week.
