Award-winning stand-up comedian and actress Amy Schumer is performing a one-night-only benefit show at Hawaii Theatre.
It takes place this Saturday, June 18, at 7 p.m.
Tickets cost $27 per person and all proceeds will go to Everytown for Gun Safety, an organization dedicated to promoting gun safety and ending violence. Schumer has been an active advocate for the organization ever since a screening of her movie “Trainwreck” in Lafayette, La. was the scene of a fatal shooting in 2015.
Tickets can be purchased at the Hawaii Theatre box office, 1130 Bethel Street, and online here. Additional fees apply.
To avoid long lines, customers are encouraged to pick up their tickets prior to the performance.
This is the latest of several benefit shows Schumer has held here in Hawaii. She previously performed at Blue Note Hawaii and Hawaiian Brian’s.
Schumer made her network debut in 2007 and her popularity has skyrocketed ever since with high-profile television and film projects, and sold-out stand-up shows.
Her Emmy-nominated show on Comedy Central, “Inside Amy Schumer,” is currently in its fourth season.
