Light winds from the southeast are replacing the trades Thursday. This could allow some of the vog to spread across the islands from Kilauea.
Winds are forecast to remain light and variable through early next week. Those who are sensitive to volcanic emissions should remain indoors as much as possible.
Showers will be a hybrid of trade showers during the evening and mornings, and leeward showers during the afternoon hours.
