Championship games are set in the HHSAA Baseball and Softball tournaments. 

Top seeded and nationally ranked Baldwin will face off with Waiakea in Friday’s Division-I baseball title game while Punahou and Leilehua will collide in the D-I softball final.

Baldwin advanced into the title game with a 9-4 win over ‘Iolani on Thursday night at Les Murakami Stadium. In the victory one of the state’s top Major League Draft prospects Anthony “Bubba” Ho’opi’i-Tuionetoa went 4-for-4 with a triple and two runs batted in. 

Waiakea, the reigning state runner-up continued their quest at unfinished business with a 5-0 win over Kailua. Cody Hirata worked a complete game shutout with five strikeouts.

DAMIEN VS. RADFORD – FRIDAY / 4PM – LES MURAKAMI STADIUM

Punahou earned their ticket into the Softball title game by ending the three year reign of Campbell, 11-3 3 as Bailey Akimseu hit a home run for the third straight night in the tournament.

The Mighty Mules were just that on Thursday, beating Mililani 13-0. Alyssa Asuncion went 3-for-3 with 5 RBI and two runs scored.
