The Hawaii Woman Expo is coming up this weekend, and once again will feature the annual Celebrities and Their Pets Fashion Show. Tiffany Kim, Executive Director of the Fur-Angel Foundation, joined us this morning with more on the event and show.
The Fur-Angel Foundation is a local non-profit organization on the island of Oahu that was established in October, 2014 by four friends who have a passion for helping the community and animals. Their purpose is to rescue underprivileged, unwanted dogs and provide medical attention and loving homes for these neglected animals.
Fur-Angel Foundation will be bringing fifteen puppies and some small older dogs to The Celebrities and Their Pets Fashion Show on September 10 and 11 at The Blaisdell Exhibition Hall at 12:30 p.m. for over 40 local celebrities to carry on the runway. These puppies will be dressed in designer fashions. The event hopes to bring attention to pet adoption & pet fostering and find good homes for the animals at this event. They will also have a booth at this event on all three dates and we will be accepting applications from families that would like to adopt or foster.
Fur-Angel Foundation places the homeless animals in foster homes until their forever homes can be found. If you would like to be a foster family or adopt or contribute to this organization, please contact us 763-8662 and check out their website at www.furangelfoundation.orgEvent Details:
