The Honolulu Biennial 2019 is an art festival that is bringing together 47 artists from across the Pacific to share their air and stories.
Focusing on one of those artists, we get to take a peak into old Hawai’i and see how it has evolved into modern times.
Artist Taupouri Tangarō shares his inspiration to these corded creations and what he hopes people will walk away with after experiencing his work.
The Honolulu Biennial lasts until May 5, so if you haven’t had a chance to see any of the amazing artwork, be sure to check them out.
