A ceremony honoring the victims of the 9/11 terror attacks will be held at Honolulu Hale

HONOLULU (KHON2) — There will be several remembrance ceremonies in Hawaii Wednesday, including one at Honolulu Hale.

Nearly 3,000 people were killed, including 5 from Hawaii and 4 people with Hawaii ties.

There will be prayers, a moment of silence and speeches honoring those killed in the attacks.

As well as first responders and military personnel who fought in the war on terror.

The ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m. at Honolulu Hale.
