HONOLULU (KHON2) — Preliminary reports detailed that a cargo flight had crashed while approaching Molokai Airport.

According to the reports, the incident happened at around 5 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 16. Two pilots were on board the aircraft; one sustained serious injuries while the other had minor injuries.

The Cessna 108 cargo flight crashed about 2 miles southwest of the airport, said the National Transportation Safety Board.

An investigation is underway.
