Hunter Pence played his former team, the San Francisco Giants, for the first time since his departure Saturday during spring training in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Even though the Texas Ranger is no longer with the Giants, San Francisco fans still showed their appreciation for Pence.
The fans gave him a standing ovation for his first at bat.
“It’s pretty special,” Hence said. “It’s very humbling. I’m very grateful for my time with the Giants. It’s always nice to see Giants fans. It feels like we’re family.”
