Truck catches fire near downtown Honolulu

A truck caught fire near downtown Honolulu Thursday, sending massive amounts of smoke and flames into the air.

It happened at around 6 p.m. on Captain Cook Avenue, ust off Vineyard Boulevard near Punchbowl Street.

No one was in the truck at the time.

Firefighters quickly put out the flames.

There’s no word yet on what caused the fire.
