Suspect still sought in golf club theft, police arrest man linked to case

Honolulu police have arrested a man believed to be connected to the theft of a golf club in Mililani.

It happened on Friday, April 15, at Mililani Golf Club’s Pro Shop.

Police released surveillance video of a man slowly slipping a golf club down his pants, then covering the top with his shirt.

On Wednesday, May 25, police took a 42-year-old man into custody. He was arrested on a warrant, but authorities say they believe he drove the vehicle that the suspect got into after the theft.

He was released pending further investigation.
