HONOLULU (KHON2) — Tuesday night, Honolulu EMS responded and administered advanced life saving treatment to a patient who suffered serious stab wounds in Kapolei and transported them to an emergency room.

The patient was identified as a 23-year-old man by officials.
EMS believe the incident happened at around 7:00 p.m. and were on the scene shortly after.
Police are calling this an attempted murder and an investigation is currently underway.
