Rally held to protect students from pesticides

Local News

Dozens gathered at the state Capitol Monday to rally in support of our keiki.

They’re trying to draw attention to a bill making its way through the legislature that would establish rules for using pesticides around schools.

If it passes, it would require large farms to disclose all restricted use pesticides.

They would also not be able to use them within 100 feet of schools while school is in session.
