Preliminary hearing postponed for suspect accused of sexually assaulting elderly woman in McCully

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The preliminary hearing for Bronson Baruz was rescheduled for Wednesday, July 7.

Baruz was initially supposed to appear in court on Wednesday, June 30.

He is accused of forcing his way into a 71-year-old woman’s McCully apartment and sexually assaulting her.

Baruz remains in custody on $250,000 bail.
